We recommend that you do not leave your horse unattended in the stable or tied up while wearing their browband, especially near anything they can rub on such as a haynet. Our browbands are handmade to the highest quality but if your horse rubs it on something, it could cause damage.
We also recommend that you keep your browband curved round in the shape it would be on the horses head. We make our browbands in this shape so it looks its best when worn. If you straighten it flat, you could damage the crystals and beads where they push together.
All crystal browbands and collars - the best way to clean your crystal browband is with a toothbrush. We do not recommend using any products on the crystals as this can lead to discolouration. Regularly check that all claws are flush against the crystal to prevent any falling out. We supply a spare pack of crystals in case of any accidents, so please keep these safe. To replace any crystals, you will simply need a pair of tweezers. Clean the leather as you would any other piece of tack.
Beaded Browbands and Collars - as with the crystals, we do not recommend using any products on the beads as this can lead to discolouration. If the bead has got dirty over time, we simply suggest using a damp, clean cloth or sponge and gently wiping away any dirt or grease. Clean the leather as you would any other piece of tack.
Ribbon based Browbands and Collars - the best way to clean any dirt or grease off the ribbons is to use a clean, damp sponge or cloth. Clean the leather as you would any other piece of tack.
Repairs
All our products come with a 12 month guarantee from the day of purchase. After 12 months we will still be more than happy to repair your product but we ask for a contribution to the return postage and also may ask for a small contribution to the repair at our discretion depending on the nature of the repair.
